Drostanolone Enanthate is strictly an undergroundanabolic androgenic steroid that is based on the discontinued Drostanolone Propionate compound known as Masteron. Masteron is a fairly old anabolic steroid first created in 1959 by Syntex and has been sold under several other brand names such as Masteril, Drolban and Metormon with Masteron remaining the most recognizable.
Description
Master on (Drostanolone) is a unique anabolic steroid because of the way it is derived from DHT (dihydrotestosterone). It is altered by the addition of a methyl group at the carbon 2 position. This structural change is what makes masteron anabolic, and what makes it function the way it does.
Masteron is extremely popular in bodybuilding; in fact, it’s used in cutting, hardening, and even as anaromatase inhibitor (AI). This makes it a great choice as a finisher during a cycle; though, it should always be stacked with other steroids to get the most benefits out of it. It is especially a good choice with aromatizing compounds like testosterone and dianabol because it works in synergy to counteract estrogen based water weight.
Masteron is an injectable preparation containing the steroid drostanolone propionate. is a derivative of dihydrotestosterone, most specifically 2alpha-methyldihydrotestosterone. As a result, the structure of this steroid is that of a moderate anabolic/potent androgen which does not aromatize to estrogen. Water retention and gynecomastia therefore do not come into play with this drug. Masteron may in fact exhibit anti-estrogenic activity in the body, competing with other substrates for binding to aromatase. This would reduce the conversion rate of other steroids, Masteron acting in the same way as the oral steroid Proviron.Bodybuilders have a strong like for non-aromatizing androgens, and find Masteron very useful in a cutting phase. It is generally used for a number of weeks prior to a competition, in an effort to bring out an improved look of density and hardness to the muscles. As long as body fat percentage is low enough,considerably intensifies its anabolic effect. It can therefore be used somewhat effectively as bulking agent, providing a consistent gain of high quality muscle mass. It can also be successfully combined with other steroids for an enhanced effect. Mixing drostanolone with an injectable anabolic such as Deca-Durabolin or Equipoise can prove quite useful for example, the two providing notably enhanced muscle gain without excessive water retention. For greater mass gains, a stronger androgen such as Dianabol or an injectable testosterone would do the trick. The result here can be an extreme muscle gain, with a lower level of water retention & other estrogenic side effects than if these steroids were used alone (usually in higher doses). Masteron could of course be used during cutting phases of training as well. A cycle of this drug combined with Winstrol, Primobolan or Oxandrolone should provide great muscle retention and fat loss, during a period which can be very catabolic without steroids. It is an added benefit that none of these steroids aromatize, and therefore there is no additional worry of unwanted water and fat retention.
During the 1970’s and 80’s Masteron enjoyed significant therapeutic success, particularly in the treatment of inoperable breast cancer. Despite its success in cancer treatment and other areas of medicine, in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s Masteron began to disappear from the U.S. and European markets and in modern times is no longer manufactured. Drostanolone is still an FDA approved anabolic steroid, but no U.S. pharmacy manufactures it.
During the 1970’s and heavily in the 1980’s Masteron become very popular among competitive bodybuilders. In fact, it has come to be viewed as an essential for contest prep for many bodybuilders and is a common favorite among recreational bodybuilders during their cutting cycles. Due to the Propionate ester that is attached Masteron must be injected at minimum three times per week with an every other day schedule being the most efficient. Because of the need for frequent injections and high demand for the steroid, many underground labs began manufacturing the Drostanolone hormone with the Enanthate ester attached. The new combination become very prominent in the early 2000’s and as such Masteron Enanthate was born. Masteron Enanthate is the same anabolic steroid as Masteron Propionate; the hormone itself has not been changed. The only difference in the two compounds is the attached ester, which affects the drug’s active life and release into the body.
Application:
Masteron enanthate, which is also known as Drostanolone enanthate, has the chemical name of 17beta-Hydroxy-2alpha-methyl-5alpha-androstan-3-one Enanthate. This steroid has an active life of nearly eight to nine days and can be detected for up to several weeks. It has an anabolic androgenic rate of 62:25.
This steroid provides an aesthetic enhancement effect and is considered by bodybuilders as one of the best steroids to reduce any possible subcutaneous water retention that may obscure the view of muscle mass underneath. It also enhances bioavailability of other steroids in an anabolic steroid cycle through its anti-estrogen and anti-aromatase effects and preventing a measurable amount of SHBG (Sex Hormone Binding Globulin) from binding to other anabolic steroids and rendering them inactive. This anabolic androgenic steroid is best used for its ability to inhibit the transformation of free testosterone to estrogen and thereby enhancing the rate of free testosterone circulating in the body. The recommended dosage of Masteron enanthate is 400-600 mg weekly for men and 100 mg weekly for females and can be stacked with Trenbolone Enanthate, Clenbuterol, Ephedrine, T3, IGF-1, and Testosterone.
